Why Games Concept
We're not a recruiting agency. We're game developers.
Games Concept combines real game development with strategic recruiting know-how. Our job simulation games are built with the same methods and the same quality as professional video games, with one clear goal: finding the best candidates for your company.
Objective selection
Skills instead of self-presentation. Every decision in the game is measured, quantifiable, fair, and free of unconscious bias.
Employer branding
Your company comes across as modern and attractive, standing out clearly in the competition for top talent.
Reaching Gen Z
Younger candidates apply in a playful, motivated way and complete game-based applications far more often.
Measurable ROI
Unilever saved 70,000 work hours, PwC increased its application rate by 70%. An investment with a provable return.
Who's on board
Large and mid-sized companies already rely on game-based recruiting.
Through esports and gamification, we reach young people exactly where their everyday reality happens. Digital media, social networks, and games are now part of daily life for most of the people who apply to us as apprentices. This step is an important milestone for us in being even more progressive in our recruiting processes.

1 game in 3Dapprox. 26-30 weeks

Essentially any industry where technical skill, decision-making, or hands-on craftsmanship matter, from energy utilities and IT to skilled trades and public administration. Entry-level projects start as a browser game; every further game we build professionally in the Unity engine, in 2D or 3D depending on the requirements.
Depending on the package, we deliver the game as a browser version that candidates open directly via a link, or as an installable application (.exe). Both options integrate easily into your application process. Candidates play, and you automatically receive an evaluation.
Every job simulation game is built by a specialized creative team from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Depending on project size, between 3 and 12 people work on it: game designers, developers, artists, and sound designers. René-Maik Reuter personally leads every project.
Games Concept has no access to personal applicant data. The game runs on infrastructure owned by the client company or a provider of its choice. The company itself is responsible for GDPR-compliant processing. We provide all technical documentation on request.
No. Results are transmitted automatically and directly to the company. The applicant only sees a confirmation screen. Manipulation is not technically possible.
Our home base and focus is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, but we don't only work here: we're always open to companies outside the state and deliver projects nationwide. And our skills don't stop at recruiting. As game developers, we don't just build recruiting games, but games as a service in general, including for other studios and partners, for example for training, onboarding, marketing, or trade shows, with the same quality as our recruiting games.

Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2026 · Games Concept, René-Maik Reuter
English translation for convenience only. The German-language version is the legally binding one.
§ 1 Scope
These terms apply to all contracts between Games Concept, René-Maik Reuter (hereafter "Contractor") and the respective client for the development of job simulation games and related services. Deviating terms proposed by the client are not recognized unless the Contractor expressly agrees to them in writing. These terms apply exclusively to business clients within the meaning of § 14 BGB, legal entities under public law, and public-law special funds.
§ 2 Formation of Contract
Offers made by the Contractor are non-binding. A contract is only formed through the Contractor's written order confirmation or by commencement of performance.
§ 3 Scope of Services
The exact scope of services follows from the respective offer and order confirmation. Changes or extensions require written agreement and may result in an adjustment of price and delivery date. The Contractor is entitled to engage qualified subcontractors and freelancers to perform the services; this does not affect the Contractor's responsibility toward the client.
§ 4 Client Cooperation
The client provides all necessary information, documents, and access in a timely manner. Delays caused by insufficient cooperation are not the Contractor's responsibility.
§ 5 Fees and Payment
Payment is due under one of the following options: (a) Prepayment: The full agreed fee is payable in advance before project start. (b) Installments by agreement: 50% of the fee is due upon order placement, the remaining 50% upon project completion and handover. The applicable payment terms are specified in writing in the respective offer. Invoices are payable within 14 days without deduction. The Contractor is registered for VAT purposes; VAT ID: DE355647683.
§ 6 Copyright and Usage Rights
All games developed are protected by copyright. Upon full payment, the client receives an exclusive, non-transferable right of use for the agreed purpose; for the duration of this exclusivity, the Contractor is not entitled to license the same game, or substantial parts of it, to third parties or to use it themselves. Any sublicensing by the client requires the Contractor's written consent. Notwithstanding this exclusivity, the Contractor may name the project as a reference and promote it to a customary extent (e.g. on its own website, in portfolios, or in proposals to third parties); any further use of the game itself remains unaffected by this and requires the client's consent. The Contractor warrants that the delivered services are free of third-party rights that would prevent contractual use, and indemnifies the client against third-party claims arising from a culpable breach of this warranty.
§ 7 Acceptance
Upon completion, the game is presented for acceptance. The client has 14 days to report material defects in writing. If no objection is raised, the work is deemed accepted. The Contractor will expressly draw the client's attention to this deadline and the resulting deemed-acceptance consequence at the time of delivery.
§ 8 Warranty
The Contractor warrants that the delivered work is free of material and legal defects at the time of acceptance. The warranty period is one year from acceptance. Within this period, the Contractor will remedy reported defects, at its choice, by repair or replacement; if remediation fails, the client is entitled to the statutory rights.
§ 9 Liability
The Contractor is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, and health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to breaches of material contractual obligations ("cardinal duties") whose fulfillment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose observance the client may regularly rely; in such cases, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage at the time the contract was formed, and in any event capped at the fee agreed for the respective order. Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, and lost profits is excluded in cases of ordinary negligence. No limitation or exclusion of liability under this section applies to claims under the German Product Liability Act.
§ 10 Termination
The client may terminate the contract at any time before completion of the work (§ 648 BGB). In that case, the Contractor is entitled to the agreed fee less any expenses saved; advance payments already made are offset accordingly, with any excess refunded. The right of either party to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
§ 11 Confidentiality
Both parties undertake to treat all confidential information and trade secrets of the other party obtained in the course of the collaboration as confidential, and to use it only for the purposes of performing the contract. This obligation continues after the end of the contractual relationship and must be imposed on each party's own employees and any subcontractors engaged.
§ 12 Form
Wherever these terms or an underlying contract require written form, text form within the meaning of § 126b BGB (e.g., email) is sufficient.
§ 13 Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Where legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is the Contractor's registered place of business. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
